Bundle Deals That Make Sense

KinkCoach · · 3 min read

A bundle is two or more items sold together, usually for a little less than buying each one on its own. Done well, it gives a buyer a reason to add one more thing to their order and makes your shop feel generous. Done badly, it confuses people and they buy nothing at all.

Start with items that belong together

The best bundles are obvious. A matching set, two pieces in the same colour, or an item with the extra that buyers often ask for. If you have to explain why the items are grouped, the bundle is probably not the right one.

Keep the saving clear and honest

Buyers like to see what they are saving. Show the bundle price and, if you can, what the items would cost separately. A small, real saving is more convincing than a big number that looks too good to be true.

Do not offer too many

One or two bundles are easy to take in. Ten different combinations turn a simple choice into homework. Pick the pairings that sell best and let the rest of your shop stay as it is.

Photograph the bundle as a set

Show every item in the bundle together in one photo, so the buyer sees exactly what arrives. Follow it with a photo of each piece on its own for detail.

Say what is included in plain words

List each item in the description, with sizes and colours. Nobody should have to guess whether the extra is part of the price.

Watch what happens

After a few weeks, look at how often the bundle is chosen. If it rarely sells, try a different pairing. If it sells well, it may be worth building a second one in the same style.
