Running OnlyFans and Fanvue Side by Side

Plenty of creators end up on both OnlyFans and Fanvue without ever deciding why. They post the same thing to both, split their attention, and end up with two half fed audiences instead of one healthy one. Running both can work. Running both by accident does not.

Decide what each one is for

The worst version is identical content on both, priced the same, promoted the same. You are now competing with yourself and paying two lots of admin for it. Give each platform a job. One might be your main house with the full back catalogue and your regulars. The other might be your hedge, your cheaper tier, or the one you point new traffic at. Whatever you choose, it should be a sentence you can say out loud.

The real cost is context, not posting

Posting to two platforms is not twice the work. Remembering two sets of regulars, two message backlogs, two pricing structures and two sets of platform rules is where the hours actually go. Do not migrate your audience twice

If you are moving from one to the other, move once and mean it. Half announcing a move, keeping both alive out of nerves, then quietly drifting back is the worst outcome for everyone. Your regulars will follow a clear decision. They will not follow indecision, and they definitely will not follow you twice.

Rules differ, so your content plan should too

The two platforms do not have identical policies, identical payout timing, or identical tolerance for the same content. Assuming they do is how people get a strike on one platform for something that was fine on the other. Read both sets of terms once, properly, and note where they differ. It takes an hour and saves an account.

Neither one is a business on its own

Both are rented ground. Running two rented plots is better than one, but it is still rented. The thing that makes both survivable is having somewhere of your own that you point people to, so that a bad week on either platform does not take your income with it. That is the core of the one platform trap.

Write one sentence for each platform explaining its job. If you cannot, you are not running two platforms, you are running one platform badly and paying for the privilege twice.
