When Someone You Know Finds Your Shop

Most sellers plan for a stranger working out who they are. Far more often it is somebody who already knows you, who was not looking, and who has just seen your shop by accident.

Work out what they actually saw

Before anything else, find out which door they came through. A face in a photograph, a tattoo, a bedroom wall, a username you also use elsewhere, a phone number attached to a payment. These are very different problems and they need different answers. People usually assume the worst version, and the worst version is usually not the one that happened.

Say nothing you cannot take back

If they raise it, you are allowed a flat answer and a long pause. You do not owe anyone a confession because they asked a question in a tone that suggested they already knew. Most of these conversations are a person fishing with one small thing they half saw. Confirming it turns a suspicion into a fact they can repeat.

Close the door they came through

Whatever it was, fix that specific thing rather than everything at once. Change the reused username, crop the photograph, take the wall down, split the payment details. Doing one deliberate repair is worth more than a panicked evening of deleting listings, and it leaves your business intact.

Decide what you want to happen next

Some people you would rather simply knew. Others you would not. That is your call and nobody else's, and it is easier to make in daylight than in the ten minutes after a message arrives. Knowing in advance which of your people fall into which group is the part that makes the whole thing survivable.
